Kim Kardashian Like You've Never Seen Her Before: As a Nude Fertility Statue!

Many of you have seen Kim Kardashian nude, but not like this!

Pop artist and sculptor Daniel Edwards debuted his statue of the pregnant reality TV star, which he has dubbed "L.A. Fertility."

It features Kim with an exaggerated body, wearing the tiara and earrings similar to the ones she wore
to her wedding to ex-husband Kris Humphries. Look closely and you can see Kim's signature lip pout, too.

Visitors at the LAB ART Gallery were encouraged to rub the statue's belly (ala Buddha) for luck.

Edwards' works have created controversy before. He's sculpted a nude Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, a dead Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears giving birth (click on the "Launch Gallery" link above to see even more of his art).

We're not sure what message he's sending with "L.A. Fertility" -- perhaps the juxtaposition of something natural like childbirth and something artificial/"L.A." like Kim's televised wedding (and divorce).

UPDATE: Edwards released the following statement:

"I was inspired by the beauty of Kim Kardashian and felt quite put-off by the media’s criticism of her weight gain during pregnancy. Such criticism should be off limits.”
