Kanye West is taking his daddy duties very seriously.
The Yeezus rapper – who rushed to Kim Kardashian's side when she went into labor – has been doting on his baby daughter.
"Kanye hasn't left Kim and the baby's side," a source close to Kardashian, 32, tells PEOPLE. "He's been in the room for days making sure everything is perfect for the two of them."
With her boyfriend there, the usually open Kardashian – who was admitted
to the hospital with medical complications on June 14 – is savoring her privacy.
And we have a name.
Five days after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their baby girl, the new arrival's name has been revealed. And it's likely to surprise the couple's fans.
The reality star and the rapper named their daughter North West, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Back in March, Kardashian, 32, denied rumors that her boyfriend, 36, wanted that name for their baby.
"I do like Easton, Easton West," she said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at the time.
Apparently, the new mom had a change of heart – or direction.
TMZ first reported the name news Thursday night, citing the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital.

Eveything they do is so artificial and odd. Poor baby, never having a chance to a nomal life. Even a normal name. Thank God for the Law. the baby can always change her odd, publicity hungry name.
