It might come as a surprise to many to know that two of Nigeria's football legends Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha and Kanu 'Papilo' Nwankwo are not having the sweetest of relationships albeit they try their very best to keep it from public knowledge.
It all started when the the midfield Trojan (Jay Jay) retired from international football many years back.
Kanu who had won the FA Cup with Portsmouth FC at the time was 'shortlisted' alongside Okocha to decide who shall become the Ambassador for Fidelity Bank Plc.
The former Arsenal marksman, Kanu, had influence among some South East governors and subsequently won the contract. This wasn't sweet pills to Jay Jay's tongue.
And a close source confirms that the two have avoided each other since, whenever events bring them together.
The source also reveals that there's a sort of supremacy struggle between the legends and that is why one can note that none of them has ever invited each other to past personal events.
